Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are set to team-up for Deadpool 3, and the actors have been having a lot of fun promoting the upcoming threequel with a series of social media videos.
Jackman recently shared a vid pleading with Academy voters not to nominate his co-star for "Best Original Song" for his performance in Apple TV+'s Spirited, and he referred to the Merc With a Mouth's MCU debut as "Wolverine and Deadpool" towards the end of the clip.
Now, Reynolds has posted a far nicer and more respectful response... right up until he knocks his screen to the floor and makes it very clear that he has no intention of allowing Jackman's character to get top billing!
"Wolverine and Deadpool... who is he kiddin'. Not on your life, Chappie."
These guys will probably keep this Twitter feud going for a while, and we wouldn't be surprised if the "dueling titles" (Wolverine and Deadpool/Deadpool and Wolverine) factored into the movie's official promotion ahead of its release next year.
Specific plot details remain under wraps for now, but Wolvie and Wade are expected to find themselves (trapped?) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (possibly facilitated by Loki's TVA) for a 48 Hours-inspired road-trip.
