It looks like Blind Al will be back to lend The Merc With a Mouth some much-needed friendship and support for Deadpool 3.
Leslie Uggams, who played Wade Wilson's visually impaired roommate in the first two movies, send out a Tweet urging her followers to watch The Adam Project on Netflix, and Ryan Reynolds responded by telling his Deadpool costar that he'd see her soon.
This is far from confirmation that Uggams will be a part of the upcoming threequel, of course, but we'd say those sword emojis count as a pretty big hint!
There's been speculation that Wade's third solo outing might serve as a soft reboot, but if Blind Al is indeed set to return, it obviously suggests that Marvel Studios and director Shawn Levy intend to keep some connections to the 20th Century Fox Deadpool movies. It may also bode well for the likes of Josh Brolin and Zazie Beetz to reprise their respective roles as Cable and Domino.
Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin are working on the script, but we're sure Reynolds has had at least some input on the story. No release date has been announced, but we should begin to learn a little more now that a director is on board.
