3 Actresses Testing For Lead Role In Disney's CINDERELLA

After Disney and Kenneth Branagh failed to land Emma Watson for their live action adaptation of Cinderella, it seems they're now looking to Bella Heathcoate, Lily James and Margot Robbie.

Deadline report that a trio of young actresses are vying for the lead role in Disney's Cinderella, which will be directed by Thor helmer Kenneth Branagh. After Harry Potter actress Emma Watson turned down teh role, the site reckon the glass slipper will go to either Bella Heathcoate, Lily James or Margot Robbie. CBMers will likely know Heathcoate from Tim Burton's Dark Shadows and she also starred in Not Fade Away. James was in Downton Abbey and Wrath Of The Titans and Robbie was in Pan Am and The Wolf Of Wall Street. Apparently Cate Blanchett is still on board as the Evil Queen, and Deadline also report that Game Of Thrones actor Richard Madden (Robb Stark) is one of the names on the list to play the Prince.

@Ror, there must be and more than one but that doesn't mean this falls under CBM's purview.

That said, I now can't stop staring at Bella Heathcote's eyes... It's like God said "[frick] it, I'm going manga on this one"...

ive always loved redheads, though i dont know if thats weird because my dad is one.

i think i annoyed one at the pub by commenting on how it made sense that she regularly wears/and looks great in dark green, i dont think (straight) men are supposed to pick up on that kind of thing but she liked the idea that it was a "complimentary" colour.

overall the woodley thing is a joke, ill take a real life attractive woman over a mans drawing of unrealistic "perfection" anyday of the week

@PsyBoy I agree! Shailene Woodley is a Mary Jane that can act and is very very pretty. She's great and actually looks like a High School Girl.
