With D23 Expo 2019 right around the corner, Disney continues to outline the various panels and exhibits that will be on display at the convention. With The Mandalorian and various Marvel Studios surprises already confirmed, Disney today unveiled its plans for its streaming services: Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+.

The Disney+ First Look Showcase promises an exclusive preview of the numerous projects that will be coming to the streaming service this November and beyond. This includes "never-before-seen content, surprise guests, performances, and reveals" for the films and series from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and more. The panel will also feature a first look at Lady and the Tramp, The Mandalorian, and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.

In addition to the Disney+ First Look Showcase there will also be a Disney+ Pavilion on the Expo show floor. This will offer guests demonstrations of the live Disney+ app across mobile devices and TVs. Costumes and props from the Disney+ Originals will also be on display. And finally, there will be the opportunity to subscribe to the service, but D23 mentions a "special offer" that will be available exclusively to Expo attendees and D23 members.

They didn't elaborate what this special offer will be, but it sounds like it could be some sort of access to a beta or preview program.

And throughout the weekend, the Disney+ Pavilion Stage will feature three days worth of panels that highlight the services originals.

Wait Disney+ includes ESPN as well? I knew they owned them but thought Disney+ was just OG Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars

@Ha1frican - No no, Disney owns ESPN, so they sell the ESPN+ streaming service. They will likely offer some sort of discounted bundle though.

@MattIsForReal - oh ok so it’s like DC, and HBO Now. Even though they are both under the same parent company they are separate services. I wonder if they’ll do an HBO Max style bundle like you said but the messaging on that could be confusing

@Ha1frican - What’s the deal with HBO Max and DC Universe? I have DCU but I’m not extremely happy with it but it’s useful as a fan of comics. I am interested in HBO Max, and would love to get caught up on Euphoria. I had the chance to re-up DCU at SDCC a couple weeks back but I turned down that offer (they were giving away exclusive comic covers if you renewed or purchased a subscription) because I thought whatever HBO Max was doing with it was a better deal. Is it included?

@PizzaDogLucky -
DC Universe will remain as is. HBO Max will poach shows like Doom Patrol that have heavy Emmy potential.

@PizzaDogLucky - I know some of the shows are included if not all, I think it basically covers all of WarnerMedia

It would be great to get a confirmed release date for NZ.

Netflix just jacked their prices up and I’d be happy to have a change.

Andy Serkis has been officially attached to direct Venom 2. Tom Hardy just announced it on his Instagram.

Gotta be honest, the World According to Jeff Goldblum is #1 for me right now. But the Star Wars and Marvel content will probably be a close second once they give us something to chew on.

Not seeing anything from Hulu in the daily D23 rundown. I hope Cloak & Dagger and Runaways get some sort of mention as well.

Still mad that I missed the Saturday tickets. I think the difficulty in getting Comic Con badges probably made those who didn't get in to move their plans to D23 instead. Gonna be there Friday and Sunday though, and the parks in between. Can't wait!
