Tinker Bell is back and Pixie Hollow is abuzz with new projects, from developing a new live-action Disney+ series to reuniting Tinker Bell and friends for their tarot card debut in the Disney Fairies Tarot Deck and Guidebook. Our last real adventure with Tink kicked off with the introduction of the Disney Fairies animated movie series, which took viewers into the heart of Neverland to explore new characters, places and lore. Serving as a prequel to the 1953 animated film Peter Pan, the Disney Fairies movies were released between 2008 and 2015, serving as a window into Tinker Bell’s past, bringing depth to a character who, in the film, was depicted as little more than Wendy’s jealous narrative foil.
In contrast, Tinker Bell’s evolution throughout the Disney Fairies movies sees her develop from a novice ‘tinkerer’ with an inferiority complex to a self-aware leader, consciously fighting against her own quick-tempered, stubborn nature to confront trouble whenever it inevitably comes crashing into Pixie Hollow. While few details are known about how Tinker Bell’s next story will unfold on screen, she and her squad from the Disney Fairies are already flying off the shelves again 2026 in a somewhat unexpected way.
The Disney Fairies Tarot Deck and Guidebook released in June, bringing with it a healthy dose of nostalgia for fans of the movie series, which became a pop culture staple for a large corner of GenZ. Insight Editions united Lia Visirin, a children’s book illustrator based in Transylvania, Romania, with author and intuitive healer Linzi Silverman, creator of The Intuitive Night Goddess Tarot and The Portent Tarot.
Together, they seamlessly translate traditional Rider-Waite-Smith tarot themes into the language of fairies, swapping the Minor Arcana’s Wands, Cups, Swords and Pentacles/Coins for Sunbeams, Snowflakes, Feathers and Fairygolds. Further, each suit is paired with a specific season, a major callback to the underlying premise on which many of the early Disney Fairies movies were based, as well as the nature powers many of Tinker Bell’s friends, like Periwinkle, Rosetta, Silvermist and Iridessa, possess. These references are further solidified by alternating the seasonal foliage along each card’s borders.

Silverman likewise creates a meaningful explanation of the Major Arcana cards, drawing directly from various scenes, dialogue and character traits to build connections between the traditional archetypes and the images chosen to represent them in the deck. The result is a masterfully contextualized set of card attributes, which brilliantly aligns the tarot to the Disney Fairies universe. The guide’s spreads are similarly thoughtful, offering a welcome departure from yet another thematic three-card, past, present and future spread. Instead, Silverman provides fully customized variations that explore the user’s talents, problem-solving skills and personal growth through a fairy-shaped lens.
Silverman’s efforts are underscored by Visirin’s knack for whimsy. The box art, guidebook pages and cards are covered in highly detailed, whimsical illustrations, achieving a tone that is simultaneously nostalgic and timeless. The detail of each card creates an immersive, full-color experience, showcasing Visirin’s talent as a visual storyteller, capturing the spirit of Tinker Bell and Pixie Hollow to channel the author’s vision in each card’s description. The style is such that this deck could have been published yesterday, or several decades ago when the original movie released.
Tarot enthusiast or no, this seemingly flawless execution appears to have motivated fans. At the time of this writing, not even four weeks since its release, initial copies of the Disney Fairies Tarot Deck and Guidebook have already sold out at several major retailers, including Insight Edition’s primary website, Simon & Schuster, Books-a-Million and Amazon – a rare feat! That said, Disney Fairies fans will be relieved to know that more decks are on the way, though locally owned stores may still have a small supply of inventory available.
