Good news for fans of Beauty and the Beast! The official trailer was released yesterday and it has broken records. The trailer has received 127.6 million views in its first 24 hours. This remarkable feat beats the likes of Fifty Shades DarkerStar Wars: The Force Awakens, and Captain America: Civil War. The previous record holder (Fifty Shades Darker) only had 114 million views in its first 24 hours. The groundbreaking 127.4 million views for Beauty and the Beast do not include China's viewers, which really makes it even more extraordinary.

The very first teaser trailer for Beauty and the Beast was released last May and broke records for teaser trailers. That along with this new record for the Disney Emma Watson-led adaptation certainly guarantees that this will probably be another win for Disney. Some box office experts even predict that Beauty and the Beast will be the new March record holder for both opening weekend, which would mean making more than young adult hit The Hunger Games and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Are you looking forward to watching Beauty and the Beast? Sound off below! Beauty and the Beast comes out March 17, 2017 and stars Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, Ewan McGregor, Ian McKellen, Kevin Kline, Luke Evans and Josh Gad.

@Vogue - But, but star wars.. And isn't Beauty and the Beast just the same as Cinderella or Snowhite or Sleeping Beauty? I mean its definetley not in my top 10 disney animated movies. And isn't it just for like just 60% of the population? (women and, lets say, 'romantic' men). I cannot understand this
