Emma Watson Unveils The First Official Teaser Poster For BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
We're still close to a year away, but Walt Disney Studios has already started extending invitations to their upcoming live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast. Check out the first poster now!
After hitting a home run on Jon Favreau's live-action remake of The Jungle Book, Disney is gearing up to do it again next year with Bill Condon's live-action take on Beauty and the Beast, which stars Emma Watson (Harry Potter) as Belle and Dan Stevens (Legion) as the titular Beast. We saw the first enchanting trailer back in May and now, thanks to Miss Watson, we have the film's first official teaser poster featuring the story's most iconic symbol: The Enchanted Rose. Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” is a live-action re-telling of the studio’s animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs. “Beauty and the Beast” is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within.
