First Teaser Trailer For Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST Wonders Whether Emma Watson Is The One
Disney has released the first teaser trailer for their upcoming live-action re-telling of Beauty and the Beast and while it's light on footage, there's still plenty to like, including Emma Watson!
After a brief sneak peek teaser yesterday, Walt Disney Studios have officially unveiled the first teaser trailer for Beauty and the Beast, which is a live-action remake of their classic 1991 animated film. The 1 minute and 30 second teaser doesn't offer much actual footage, but it does give us a pretty good introduction to the magical world created by director Bill Condon (Mr. Holmes). We also catch some dialogue before meeting our titular heroine, Belle, played by Harry Potter star Emma Watson. Check out the first teaser trailer below:
Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” is a live-action re-telling of the studio’s animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs. “Beauty and the Beast” is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within.
