The Jungle Book is an upcoming American live-action/CGI film directed by Jon Favreau, written by Justin Marks, and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. The film's executive producers are Molly Allen, Karen Gilchrist, Peter M. Tobyanse. Music will be written by John Debney.

They have such a great cast on paper, but based on what little we've seen the only one that somewhat works for me is Elba as Shere Khan. Johansson as Kaa is the least appealing match by far, at least the way they're doing it.

@blackandyellow - I thought it was just me. And I love Favreau directing. I guess the CGI animals just aren't engaging to me and the voice actors are miscast. Johanson being by far the worst.
