NON-SPOILER REVIEW OF THE JUNGLE BOOK by MICKEUS
Ahh, the Jungle Book, i remember watching that cartoon while my father and mother fought in the kitchen, and i LOVED it, it was alright and that bear made me dance and get beaten up in school what doing it. I [frick]ing love my childhood.
But most importantly, some wanker by the name of Jon Favreau (this guy):
made a live action Jungle Book, and i was..................
EXCITED, MATE! know why? Because Honey Boo Boo's mom could be cast as the big queen bear (is there something like that in the film? Whatever, i don't care)
that shit would bring oscars to the table.
But let's get to the movie itself, right, i went to see it, and the theatre was full of [foo foo] kids crying and screaming.
LIKE FOR [frick]'S SAKE, let me watch the movie, first, you little bastards!
Twats.
The movie began, and i was comfortable in my seat, almost. Because the seat was SOOO uncomfortable i felt like Slender Man was tickling my bullocks.
Then the movie started, and the first peak of Ben Kinglsey as Bhaerra, that was great! And that indian lad as Mowgli, was.....good? i don't know, the kid's like bloody 7, so give him a break.
And there was this scene that was so sad, my mate was calling me a bloody pussy.
Then my mate cried too.
From pain.
And Scarlett Johansson is the first woman to make me have a boner just by her bloody voice.
Second of all, i really liked the film, it was a good blend of comedy, drama, action and PG-goodness...........................................................................................................................................................................................................................
REAL THOUGHTS:
The movie was good, the first part was just plain comedy.
The movie was fun, my nephew liked it, but the only thing i have to say that bothered me is (first of all, the seat) and that i bet the whole movie was just filming that indian kid in front of a green screen with ScarJo visiting in once in a while.
The movie is really good. Emotional, and the music was great, especially the Bear Necessities song in live action. Some of the roles are cast well (Bill Murray/Babbo) but some aren't like ScarJo as the snake, i mean i love ScarJo but maybe another actress (Julianne Moore or something) but to be honest, the movie's good, go see it, cause there's nothing good on cinemas right now (BVS was alright, but you know....) or go see The Boss, if you want to kill yourself after.
Oh who cares? The Andy Serkis version is gonna be better.
With all his undying (which is all for ScarJo, you wanker) love,
Mickeus!
