Via Film Music Reporter, it has been confirmed that composer Patrick Doyle (Thor) will score Disney's upcoming live action adaptation of Cinderella, which will be directed by frequent collaborator Kenneth Branagh. Lily James (Downton Abbey) is set to play the titular character, with Richard Madden (Game Of Thrones) cast as Prince Charming and Cate Blanchett (The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey) on board as the evil stepmother. Production may begin later this fall for a 2014 release, but that info has yet to be officially confirmed by Disney. Doyle has scored many of Branagh's films, including Jack Ryan (which is set for a Christmas 2013 release). Are you looking forward to Cinderella?

Dont even remember the score that was used in Thor, it was that bland, that's one thing these Marvel Studios movies need to improve on, no memorable or breathtaking scores in their films.

Hope DC does better in this regard.

Imagine if Hans Zimmer scored all the films. Then for JLA, the main theme is a combination of ALL the themes.

I think that would be brilliant.
