THOR: RAGNAROK Star Tessa Thompson Will Voice Lady In Disney's Live-Action LADY AND THE TRAMP
Well, we have our Lady and the Tramp! Disney is developing a live-action/CG hybrid movie for its planned streaming service and more voice actors have now been revealed. Hit the jump for further details!
2018 has already been a great year for Tessa Thompson because she's starred in critically acclaimed movies like Annihilation and Sorry To Bother You as well as landing a lead role in Sony's new Men in Black movie. Now, it's been revealed that the actress has landed a lead role in Disney's planned Lady and the Tramp which is set to debut not in theaters but on the studio's planned streaming service.
Thompson will star as Lady, while Doctor Strange and Avengers: Infinity War star Benedict Wong has signed on to play Bull, an English bulldog. Other recent casting additions include Kiersey Clemons (Dope) as Darling and Ashley Jensen (Extras) as a Scottish Terrier named Jackie, one of Lady’s closest friends. Justin Theroux (The Leftovers), meanwhile, is going to be voicing Tramp in the movie.
So, it already has an impressive cast and two fantastic leads. Throw in the fact that Charlie Bean (The LEGO Ninjago Movie) will be at the helm and it definitely feels like the live-action adaptation of the 1955 classic is in good hands.
