The folks over at IMAX were kind enough to let us debut a brand new Beauty and the Beast video this morning! The new video, included below, takes us behind the scenes and highlights the film's digitally re-mastered image and sound quality that was required for The IMAX Experience. The cast and crew share their thoughts on the film and the differences between the regular theatrical release and that being shown to to IMAX movie-goers.

Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” is a live-action re-telling of the studio’s animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs. “Beauty and the Beast” is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within.

Beauty and the Beast is currently showing in theaters and on IMAX screens worldwide.

What did you think of the film? Did you catch it on IMAX? Make sure and share your thoughts below!

I recently saw it in IMAX 3D at Lincoln Center here in NYC and while it wasn't bad seeing that newest Guardians of the Galaxy trailer in 3D IMAX has me even more hyped for the movie!

I don't usually care for 3D (I do like that HUGE IMAX screen tho) so I'm def seeing that there!

Saw it Wednesday with the girlfriend. Pretty impressed! Luke Evans & Josh Gad killed it.

I just see Hermoine Granger. Emma Watson is typecast the same way Christopher Reeve was by a role.
