Marvel Studios recently shared a new clip from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness showing the Sorcerer Supreme and America Chavez falling through the MCU's Multiverse, and some eagle-eyed fans believe they've spotted an iconic planet from the Star Wars franchise!

As you can see below, Strange and Chavez pass through a fiery lava planet that bears a striking resemblance to Mustafar. That is, of course, the location of Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi's epic finale duel in Revenge of the Sith. Their battle would culminate with Obi-Wan striking down his former Padawan and best friend, leaving him to burn for his role in destroying the Jedi Order.

Later, Emperor Palpatine would retrieve what remained of Anakin and transformed him into the monstrous Darth Vader. While we're not expecting the Sith Lord to appear in the Doctor Strange sequel, we're not exactly shocked that huge Star Wars fan, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, has found a way to use the Multiverse to subtly reference this Galaxy Far, Far Away.

It's worth noting that we saw a near-identical lava planet in What If...?, and while it was never confirmed, the prevailing theory then was that it might also be a fun nod to Mustafar.

We'll be spending some time on that planet in the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series, as it's where Vader would create his fortress in the years following his transformation into a Sith.

Take a closer look at that lava planet in the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness clip below:

@CorndogBurglar - I was about today probably every software rendering package out there probably has some generic lava planet template even a graphics card renderer probably has one...and this article wants to say that's Mustafar...

@TheHumanSpider - Haha. Funny you say that. Even Jedi Fallen Order has a lava planet level that isn't Mustafar.

I'm not sure how that's not Muspelheim. Seems like a much safer bet than Mustafar but I wouldn't put it past a SW fanboy like Feige

At first I though it's maybe was Mustafar, but it really just looks like a lava planet to me. Atleast What If had a silhouette of Vader's castle.
