Percy Jackson, the son of Poseidon, continues his epic journey to fulfill his destiny, as he teams with his demigod friends to retrieve the Golden Fleece, which has the power to save their home and training ground, Camp Half-Blood. Starring Logan Lerman, Brandon T. Jackson, Alexandra Daddario, Douglas Smith, Mary Birdsong, Yvette Nicole Brown, Missi Pyle, Nathan Fillion, Anthony Head, Paloma Kwiatkowski, Leven Rambin, Stanley Tucci, Robert Maillet & Zoe Aggeliki, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters is directed by Thor Freudenthal and releases August 16, 2013.

Ive never read the books. But, I think, like most other childrens movies, they've decided to go heavy on the special effect and heavy on crappy story telling.

@SuperCat You are at the webpage for comic book movies(superheroes mainly), you do realize that most of the people over 15 have that attitude towards all films that we geeks here are excited about. That kind of hypocrite attitude has no place on here IMO, you can express freely if you are not interested about some movie but don't start to judge when(at it's best) there are conversations on this site where people over 20 argue about saturday-morning-cartoons.
