Chris Hemsworth Gets His Ass Kicked By A Man With A Stick In New SWATH BTS Video

The Avengers' Chris Hemsworth isn't looking anything like the mighty Thor in this new behind-the-scenes video. Also, a brand new image of Snow White and the Huntsman riding into battle.

In the epic action-adventure Snow White and the Huntsman, Kristen Stewart (Twilight) plays the only person in the land fairer than the evil queen (Oscar® winner Charlize Theron) who is out to destroy her. But what the wicked ruler never imagined is that the young woman threatening her reign has been training in the art of war with a huntsman (Chris Hemsworth, Thor) who was dispatched to kill her. Sam Claflin (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides) joins the cast as the prince long enchanted by Snow White’s beauty and power.

Snow White & The Huntsman, will open in theaters June 1, 2012. Starring Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth, Sam Claflin, Ian McShane, Ray Winstone, Nick Frost, and Bob Hoskins.

Chris lost a ton of weight (not literally) for that racing movie Rush. He's a freakin' twig right now. He has to start bulking up for Thor 2.

Is it bad that I'm pretty sure this fight scene is going to end up being better filmed in this BTS video than in the actual movie? The way they're working the camera makes me think that the whole thing is going to be really shaky and the cool choreography that's going on is going to be completely incomprehensible.

I'd love to be proven wrong though. This movie looks interesting enough that I'll probably go and see it, and I definitely don't want to sit through a crap film. It just has just enough aspects to it (Kristen Stewart, "gritty" fairy tale) to make me not full on "excited" for it.

^ how is gritty fairy tale not exciting

fairy tales are suppose to be dark

it is how they were originally written

@P862010

I guess it's more that every time I watch the trailer, I can't help but picture the production meeting where some executive was like "Yeah, Yeah..But what if it was Snow White meets The Dark Knight?"

It seems like they're making this one "dark" and "gritty" (the airquotes are important, lol) cause that is what's popular now, and not because they actually want to pay homage to the way fairy tales were originally told.

P862010, You're right of course. I have a full volume of Grimm's Complete Fairy Tales that sits alongside a few other choice books atop my computer desk. It doesn't mean everyone else is aware of it though. To the masses, fairy tales are once upon a time and happily ever after. I'm sure there is an astrophysicist out there that doesn't know about the origin of 'fairy tales' but he's not stupid for not knowing

i find it funny seeing the tv spots for this movie. ever single spot shows several clips of Charlize and Chris, but then just 1 quick flash of the ugly no talent bitch playing Snow White.
