I just can't get around how this looks so much like a TV movie.

Some of the graphics are pretty nice but there's this quality to it that doesn't scream 'cinematic release'. Like it still looks a bit 'rough' and 'stagey'.

Is it just me?

I just saw this movie, buddy of mine is a theater manager, and it is worth the price of admission. Good plot, basic though it is, but well developed. Compared with some of his past work I didn't see Ratner as the director of this movie. I was surprised at just how different this was compared to the movie that bombed earlier this year. Is Hercules a man, a myth, or a legend? Find out for yourself.

Any Ratner hate is misguided for this film, more Roy Thomas/BWSmith Conan than Hercules... with plenty of Conan female eye candy... super models Irina Shayk & Barbara Palvin... badass newcomer Bolso Berdal as Atalanta... choose her anytime over Avenger's Hawkeye...
