Following their majestic cover reveal a few days ago, Total Film has debuted four new stills from Disney's live action remake of Beauty and the Beast. The first two images focus on the Beast (Dan Stevens), who appears to be giving Belle (Emma Watson) a glimpse of his castle, most likely in the abandoned west wing.

"The animated movie came out when I was a kid," Stevens told the magazine. "It was really great. I think every generation has its own telling of this. It captures a lot of imaginations at once. It certainly captured mine."

The second two images feature Luke Evans' dastardly Gaston, who looks to be giving his rousing speech to convince the town to hunt and kill the Beast. "We didn’t tone [Gaston] down," Evans said. "I think we did the opposite. Everything he does, he does extreme. There was no point trying to find a way to tone it down."

Check out the images below! Beauty and the Beast releases on March 17, 2017.

Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” is a live-action re-telling of the studio’s animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs. “Beauty and the Beast” is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within.
