Warner Bros. has just released final trailer for King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, and it features quite a bit of new footage from Guy Ritchie's upcoming take on the classic tale.

When we first heard about this movie, we weren't sure if the Sherlock Holmes director was going to go down the fantasy route, or tell a more realistic story like Antoine Fuqua's 2004 film - but the most recent teasers have featured giant elephants, dragon-like creatures, and what appear to be mermaids. So yeah... I think it's safe to say we're not in "grounded" territory here.

To be honest, I'm still not sold on this - but I can't be mad at any trailer that uses a Zeppelin tune. Check it out below and let us know what you think.

The young Arthur runs the back passages of Londonium with his crew, not knowing his royal lineage until he grabs Excalibur. Instantly confronted by the sword’s influence, Arthur is forced to make up his mind. Joining the rebellion and an enigmatic young woman named Guinevere, he must learn to address her and eventually understand her magic weapon, deal with his demons and unite the people to defeat the dictator Vortigern, the man who murdered his parents and stole his crown to become king.

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword is set to hit theaters on May 12.

@BlindAl9 - FYI, have you heard of the plan they had for the third movie? Apparently it was going to include time travel. And that's apparently something they're still toying with.
