Disney just dropped a fresh look at Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 during D23 this weekend, and it’s pretty clear the stakes have been dialed way up.
The new trailer (watch below) gives us our first real glimpse at Percy’s desperate search for Annabeth, the growing threat of the Titans, and a few new faces joining the cast this season.
On the upcoming third season, Walker Scobell previously teased to Mashable, "Listen, I love Season 2, and I love Season 1. Perfect, I love them so much. But there's something about The Titan's Curse to The Last Olympian that's just a completely new level, and it's just so different."
"They're getting older, and things are getting pretty serious with this Great Prophecy. It think it gets really difficult for them, because now things are real. They're not invincible — not like they weren't before, but they've seen how they're not invincible."
Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 officially lands on Disney+ this November 20.

The official synopsis for season 3 reads, "If Percy Jackson learned anything after completing two epic quests with Annabeth Chase, it’s that he would be lost without her. So when Annabeth is captured by the forces of Kronos, Percy must embark on a perilous journey to rescue her. He must free a goddess in chains, confront the Titan’s curse, and avoid triggering the fall of Olympus. With Grover by his side, Percy must join some unlikely questmates to confront a prophecy with dire consequences."
The series stars Scobell,Leah Sava Jeffries,Aryan Simhadri,Charlie Bushnell,Tamara Smart, and Levi Chrisopulos.
Actress Dafnee Keen, best known for playing X-23 in Logan and Deadpool & Wolverine, has joined the show to play Artemis. Zoë Nightshade will be portrayed by Saara Chaudry.
Ahead of season 3's release, fans of the book series are curious to see whether the show will be renewed for a fourth season. There was a reported drop in viewership for season 2 and Disney has not officially announced a Season 4 renewal for Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
However, the showrunners and cast members, including Walker Scobell, have expressed hope and indicated they are planning with the final books in mind.
