Warner Bros. Animation shared the first trailer for Green Lantern: Beware My Power earlier this week, and we now have the Blu-ray cover art along with full casting details. The movie looks set to show John Stewart, a newcomer to the Green Lantern Corps, teaming up with Hawkgirl and Green Arrow to put an end to Sinestro's reign of terror (which seemingly led to Hal Jordan's death).

It's also been confirmed that Jeff Wamester (Justice Society: World War II) directed the movie from a script by John Semper (Static Shock) and Ernie Altbacker (Justice League Dark: Apokolips War).

In terms of Green Lantern: Beware My Power's cast, the project has nabbed a huge star in Aldis Hodge to lend his voice to John Stewart. The actor will, of course, be playing Hawkman in the upcoming Black Adam movie, so this is a big year for The Invisible Man star in the DC Universe.

The supporting cast includes Jimmi Simpson as Green Arrow, Ike Amadi as Martian Manhunter, Brian Bloom as Adam Strange, Jamie Gray Hyder as Hawkgirl, Mara Junot as Lyssa Drak and Banth Dar, Jason J. Lewis as Ganthet and Captain Kantus, Keesha Sharp as Vixen, Simon Templeman as Sardath and Console Voice, Rick D. Wasserman as Sinestro, Sunil Malhotra as Power Ring and Rannian Commander. Nolan North, meanwhile, provides additional voices.

The Blu-ray will also come bundled with a new featurette titled "John Stewart: The Power and the Glory" that examines his adventures on the printed page, the animated screen, popular culture and beyond, featuring all-new interviews with the creators, writers, artists, and performers who helped shape John’s legendary stories, including Aldis Hodge, the voice of John Stewart in this movie.

"In Green Lantern: Beware My Power, recently discharged Marine sniper John Stewart is at a crossroads in his life, one which is only complicated by receiving an extraterrestrial ring which grants him the powers of the Green Lantern of Earth," reads the synopsis for the movie. "Unfortunately, the ring doesn't come with instructions - but it does come with baggage, like a horde of interplanetary killers bent on eliminating every Green Lantern in the universe."

"Now, with the aid of the light-hearted Green Arrow, Adam Strange and Hawkgirl, this reluctant soldier must journey into the heart of a galactic Rann/Thanagar war and somehow succeed where all other Green Lanterns have failed. The film's Supervising Producer is Butch Lukic."

Green Lantern: Beware My Power will be available on 4K, Blu-ray & Digital starting July 26, 2022.
