In an article published by LA Times Blogs, the film festival being held on June 16th thru the 26th will screen films that include "DRIVE" starring Ryan Gosling, Chris Weitz "A Better Life" and Guillermo del Toro's "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark", but the stand out of the crowd seems to be the highly anticipated DC Comics adaption of 'Green Lantern'.
The festival's special screening will be "Green Lantern," the highly anticipated film based on the popular DC comic and starring Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively. That likely means the crowd will be comprised of more fanboys than last year, when "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" played in that slot...
While it may be only a day before the national release date, those who attend will most likely let the word out about the film on the net, so keep a sharp eye on the look out.
