More From Greg Berlanti On Green Lantern

Latino Review nabbed a word with Berlanti about his new film Life As We Know It at Showest, but they slipped in a few GL questions too! Berlanti talks about the tone of the film, the space setting, possible cameos, and likens Hal Jordan to Top Gun's Maverick..

GL stuff comes in around 1:27. Its interesting that he talks about wanting to keep some things as a surprise in relation to cameos since director Martin Camblell has previously stated pretty definitively that they would not be happening. Maybe he was just humoring "El Guapo" there, or maybe there really are some surprises coming.

Also, as a hater of everything about Top Gun I did not like that comparison! I know its there whether I like it or not, both being fighter pilots and all, but still, ugh. If Reynolds comes off as completely unlikable in every way as Tom Cruise did in that movie..which he has been known to do in certain other roles, I will not be a happy bunny. Anyway, enough negativity, I can't wait to see some footage for this. Hopefully they will have something to show us at Comic Con this year.
