Looks like you have another reason to stay after the credits when you watch Green Lantern. DC will display an advertisement of the movie edition of Secret Origins, with the foreword by Ryan Reynolds.

CBR has the following to say...

Since it's entered a new synergistic phase of creation with parent company Warner Bros., the newly branded DC Entertainment is taking the steps to draw movie fans into comics starting with this weekend's Green Lantern.

The company shared exclusively with CBR the end cap, which will run at the end of the credits for Green Lantern, in theaters coast-to-coast starting with midnight showings this evening:

While the image itself may be a small step towards raising awareness for comics amongst superhero film fans, DCE revealed that the end cap was only one piece of the promotion they've put together to support both brick and mortar retail and their own tablet-ready app in the wake of Green Lantern's opening.

Starring Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Mark Strong, Michael Clarke Duncan, and Geoffry Rush, Green Lantern hits theaters tomorrow!

@ ugn/mrnofear

i am going to see the film can't wait to see sinestro, but you've got to admit its not sounding promising is it.

i want it to be amazing & open the door for other heroes, but if its a failure at the box office i can't see warner taking risks with any other characters.
