Good job with these, man! Always good to see people take the initiative to explain things and do some research.

@NovaCorpsFan Thanks! It's actually entertaining, I read volume two but until I did these I didn't realize how little I knew about Drax and the original continuity for Star Lord.

Also, I really appreciate the comment! Its always nice hear from people!

No problem dude! Star-Lord's origin is kinda convoluted in the comics, if you read his early stuff from the eighties, the Badoon had nothing to do with his mother's death, it was some tiny alien lizard things.

@NovaCorpsFan I honestly prefer the original origin, everything Bendis has changed is a little too much (what I believe) to be like warping the character to a fiction version of his own life story...

Like I honestly think they're going to slowly take the original route in the films, since it allows for more mythology than another cheap sparta ripoff story. Especially with how he is bestowed the element gun by a cosmic being, and that his dad had moved on from the position... it gives a lot more than "Spartax" really can for the MCU

Couldn't agree more with you on that one.

@NovaCorpsFan If only there were a comment "like" spot on these comment sections I could further agree without needing to say it via another comment haha

This panel was meant for Jonh Byrne but it fits perfectly with Bendis.

@LensmanMatt92 but if the cross-over from the general audience did that I would have to be able to interview people in order to get a video everyweek... getting people for those is harder than it looks.

And yes I feel like that Byrne panel (thats with his interp of late 80's early 90's batman and superman, right? I don't know DC as well as I wish I do) is literally the story of Bendis's writing (at least since the Avengers came out)
