2014's GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY had a lot of strong points, but it also had a couple of weaker ones. In this episode of Rewind Replay, we step back a few years and have a look at how this critically and commercially beloved movie stacks up knowing what we do now.

Personally, as a MCU fan, I like GotG but not close to as much as most people. It was really funny, and there were good action scenes, but I found the characters and plots kind of underwritten. And so far the sequel seems even worse. Hopefully I'm wrong, and it turns out great, but I'm not a huge fan of this franchise so far.
