Though James Gunn has bookmarked his ending at Marvel Studio's with Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3, and there is a strong chance Chris Pratt may possibly return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Star-Lord, the same cannot be said for Gamora actress Zoe Saldaña, who has recently got candid about her role.

Talking with Marvel Studio's: Assembled for Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3, Saldaña confided in nothing but her deepest, most utmost gratitude and respect toward James Gunn, Marvel Studio's, and the legacy she will leave behind after playing this character.

“To live within the Marvel universe has been nothing but a treat. It’s a part of my legacy that I will so proudly take on with me, and I hope that my children are proud. I have three little boys, and they are already becoming die-hard fans of these characters.”

“It makes me feel really good. It makes me feel lucky. It makes me feel fortunate. It makes me feel proud, to know so many people that I look up to and I respect deeply that live also in this universe, among me.”

“Every time I feel like I’m about to fall out of my sorts, I look around and I see people that I’ve up so much to be here because they have a true passion, a genuine, sincere love for what we do, and that always reminds me that we are very blessed and very lucky and very fortunate to be here. And I want to thank you [James Gunn] because you have been a wonderful person. You believed in me before I even believed in myself. So thank you for sticking by me, and…I’m gonna miss Gamora, but I’m not gonna miss the four-hour makeup.”

Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3's send off for the Mad Titan's daughter saw her take role as commander of The Ravagers - unfortunately ending any chance fans had for her and Peter Quill to rekindle their relationship, and her overall role as part of the Guardians of The Galaxy for good.

"I think the time has come for me to step down, and for the next generation to come forward. The one thing I would not want is for Gamora to go away. She’s been such an impactful character for fans, and especially female fans, and young female fans."

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (stylized in marketing as Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3) is a 2023 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team Guardians of the Galaxy, produced by Marvel Studios, and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is the sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017), and the 32nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Written and directed by James Gunn, it features an ensemble cast including Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Will Poulter, Sean Gunn, Chukwudi Iwuji, Linda Cardellini, Nathan Fillion, and Sylvester Stallone. In the film, the Guardians embark on a mission to protect Rocket (Cooper) from the High Evolutionary (Iwuji).

She is a class act. My boner for her will never stray.

I forgive her for being in the Avatard movies, because she got paid a ton of money for those.

They are very popular movies. The audience has spoken. Just like many of the Transformers/Fast & Furious movies made billions of dollars. They are very popular movies, but they are not good movies, just like Avatar.

Y'all should watch these, but especially the 3rd interview where she's pregnant. It's so funny, adorable, and endearing.

She might be the real Domino, her luck as an actress has been incredibly amazing.

What she’s not gonna talk trash about the MCU like she did Pirates Of The Caribbean?

Liked her in this role but she never came off as the "Most Dangerous Woman In The Galaxy" to me.

@ModHaterSLADE - Blame that on Gunn's script. I feel the same way.

She is so solid. A different league of actor to the other Guardians and I think it shows.

Like the top comment says, a class act.

I personally never felt like she really fit Gamora from the comics, but as an actress I've always loved Zoe Saldana and for the MCU version of the characters she was great. Also seemed happy to be there and I don't think I've ever seen her complain about the makeup. Her and Karen Gillan both.
