James Gunn Touches On Recent GOTG Casting Rumors; Gives His Take On Marvel

The Super director briefly took to Twitter to answer some questions from fans, and although he wouldn't get into his work on Marvel's Guardians Of The Galaxy in any detail, he did drop a couple of interesting tidbits..

There's not really too much here, but I thought you guys might be interested in what Gunn had to say (or not say as the case may be) about Guardians Of The Galaxy. Like I said, he refuses to give anything away but he does suggest that we probably shouldn't put so much stock in some recent casting rumors. "I can't answer all of these GOTG questions right now", said Gunn after a barrage of them. "We have lots of surprises in store for you guys but can't let them out for a while. That said, don't believe everything that you read!" Of course this doesn't mean that any or all casting rumors definitely aren't true, as I'm sure anyone associated with Marvel would say that regardless, but obviously it's best not to just assume they're all on the level either. After this I myself decided to bypass any direct GOTG related questions and asked him if he'd be interested in working with Marvel again on another movie. "Without a doubt", he replied. "So far, working with Marvel has been the highlight of my working life. I love these guys." So, a GOTG sequel? Another character(s) perhaps? Who would you like to see Gunn take aim at (sorry!) next? Read all of the questions for yourselves at the link below.
