Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits–Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Peter discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand - with the galaxy’s fate in the balance. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is presented by Marvel Studios and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gilian, Djimon Hounsou with John C. Reilly, Glenn Close as Commander Rael and Benicio del Toro as The Collector. Distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, the film opens August 1, 2014

Great spot. Found it funny that on the international version, they would mention Captain AMERICA instead of say, Iron Man.

Hell yeah, hearing that gets me even more pumped.

When I went to see Edge of Tomorrow 3D the GOTG trailer played in front of it truly was beautiful to look at. I love that they aren't afraid to give us all kinds of color to take in.

After these TV spots I'm also getting pretty excited to see how Drax turns out. I think I might be pleasantly surprised.

ALRIGHT I know that in the last GOTG TV Spot article I said that I wouldn't watch another one. But the only reason why I'm here right now is because the Collector is in the one. THIS IS THE LAST ONE FOR REALZ

I don't know if folks know this or not but apparently Vin Diesel is HUGE in Latin America. Because of him and Zoe (and Bautista, wrestling is also huge) I think Guardians is going to make a killing in Latin American theaters. Hopefully it will be similar to the kind of money transformers is making in China. I want Marvel Cosmic to explode, I want Guardians to make so much money that it removes any hesitation on Marvels part to bring in all sorts of cosmic characters (Star Hawk?!!?) And just expand. There are so many story's to tell... Netflix cosmic series anyone??
