Lloyd Kaufman Has A "Small Part" In Marvel's GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY
Writer-actor-director Lloyd Kaufman, who previously worked with James Gunn on Super, reveals that he will have a small role in Marvel's space epic Guardians Of The Galaxy, but is unsure if he'll make it into the final film.
In an interview with Crave Online, writer/director/screenwriter/actor Lloyd Kaufman (who's also the co-founder of the Troma Entertainment film studio) revealed that he will reunite with director James Gunn on Marvel Studios' space epic Guardians Of The Galaxy. He says that he will have a small part in the film, and that he'll also work behind-the-scenes (as he did on Gunn's Super and Slither). However, he sounds uncertain as to whether or not he'll be in the final film, as he also had a small part in Slither and Gunn cut "my improvised line". "Yeah, he’s giving me a part. I’m going to be in his movie. I’m going to London at the end of June to play a small part. ... We’ll see what happens. James is a good guy. I think it’ll be interesting just to see what it’s like and I’ll shoot some behind the scenes. I did it for Slither, I did it for Super. I did two pieces for Super."
Guardians Of The Galaxy stars Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Benicio Del Toro, John C. Reilly, Karen Gillian and Glenn Close. The film is set to hit theaters August 1st, 2014.
