New GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Image Features Djimon Hounsou As Korath the Pursuer
As Guardians director James Gunn comments on his and Marvel's reaction to Djimon Hounsou's appearance as Korath the Pursuer, USA Today has released a new look at the villainous character.
"When we saw how he looked in the makeup, with the blue eyes and the metal coming out of the head, we were blown away," says Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn of actor Djimon Hounsou's role as Korath the Pursuer. "Besides, Djimon brings a humanness to the part, which was needed," Gunn added. Hounsou also described his character's fighting style in the film as "a martial arts mixture of wrestling and boxing." Anyhow, USA Today has released a new look at Korath the Pursuer as he's grasping the mysterious Infinity Gem Orb in the upcoming Marvel film.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is presented by Marvel Studios and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gilian, Djimon Hounsou with John C.
