From Marvel, the studio that brought you the global blockbuster franchises of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers, comes a new team—the Guardians of the Galaxy. An action-packed, epic space adventure, Marvel's “Guardians of the Galaxy” expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits—Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Quill discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand—with the galaxy's fate in the balance.

Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy,” stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, featuring Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, with John C. Reilly, Glenn Close as Commander Rael and Benicio del Toro as The Collector. James Gunn is the director and the story is by Nicole Perlman and James Gunn, with screenplay by James Gunn. Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” releases in U.S. theaters on August 1, 2014.

@0mega

I may have been wrong. This Thursday (13th) is probably the LA premiere. Of course we always get Twitter reactions from premieres. However, there still is an early screening today. We might hear vague reports.

Oh and I just noticed that even the Kim Soo-Hyun article from last week mentioned the actress would be attending the Cap premiere this week.

I wonder if he calls it the Milano because of alisa Milano since he was abducted during the 80s.

@MetahumanAbominationKlone

Why are you reacting like you are?
Is it really that infuriating to you or are you just being dramatic?

I personally reacted to the 'request'. I was unsure about it's authenticity and thought it wasn't real.

It had nothing to do with his art, I didn't even see if it was actually real, it was the request to go to his twitter and follow him through a link he posted. I thought that was a weird thing to ask and so I just assumed it was probably spam or something since I've never seen anyone do that here. I actually thought it'd be some kind of redirect so I didn't even click it. I guess now I see that it wasn't.

Even if it was real it doesn't matter at all what I think about anything any of you do, so I really wouldn't be concerned about my reaction gif or take it all that seriously.

Especially you Yudai. I didn't realize you were real. Sorry.
Either way, people will always be critical of artwork (this place is full of harsh critics of comic art and my gif pales in comparison to a lot of what I read), commentors have actually told me my work is terrible before.

If I could offer any real advice I'd say brush off the nonsense, listen to the honest critiques and keep drawing.

There's always going to be anonymous critics with no experience or talent ready to tell you how awful your work is without having the guts to put themselves out there for the same level of judgement from strangers.

Who cares what they think.
Just know that I wasn't being one of them.
That was my mistake. If I critique your work it will be of value.

P.S. I'll check out your work, thanks for the link
