Marvel has announced who will provide the voice for the final member of the Guardians of the Galaxy in the upcoming Disney XD animated series. Joining Kevin Michael Richardson as Groot, Trevor Devall as Rocket, Will Friedle as Star Lord and David Sobolov as Drax, will be Vanessa Marshall (who can currently be heard as the Ghost's pilot, Hera, in Star Wars Rebels) as "the most dangerous woman in the universe", Gamora.

Like the other cast members, Marshall has plenty of experience having also played the likes of Mary Jane in The Spectacular Spider-Man, Black Widow in Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes , and Black Canary in Young Justice. Marvel will produce the series, with Alan Fine, Dan Buckley, Joe Quesada and Jeph Loeb on board as as executive producers.

UPDATE: James Arnold Taylor will voice Yondu and Cosmo.

She does a good job as Hera, so I'm sure she'll also be good in GOTG animated series

James Arnold Taylor is voicing Cosmo and Yondu btw.

Kind of a disappointment to me for some reason, but I probably wasn't watching this show anyways.

Marvel is under the mistaken impression that this series is a lot more hyped than it actually is. Why not just announce the cast at once through a press release, instead of this silly gimmick? It's just like their dumb comic solicitations. Nobody cares, Marvel.

Don't forget Ronan the Accuser since he served as the 2014 movie's villain along with Thanos and the other villains that showed up
