VIDEO: Chris Pratt Talks GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY And Teases A "Big Publicity Push"
As if you would expect anything less from Marvel/Disney, Chris Pratt assures Guardians of the Galaxy will soon get a big marketing push, while he's on the red carpet of the Golden Globes. Check it out!
“Yeah, Guardians of the Galaxy was absolutely an experience of a lifetime” Chris Pratt told MTV News while on the red carpet of last night's Golden Globes. “I feel like it really hasn't even started yet because we've got a big publicity push that's gonna happen when we're gonna fly around the world and introduce the movie to people who are watching it. So that's gonna be really exciting and new for me to do something like that on a grand scale,” enthuses the Parks and Recreation actor. Though Guardians may need all the promotion it can get, Marvel Studios having their actors travel the globe in anticipation of their films isn't exactly a new thing. Still, Pratt assures that “the movie-making process was unlike anything I've ever experienced before and truly mind blowing. James Gunn did a great job.” Speaking about his role as Peter Quill, Chris Pratt concludes with this character is definitely close to my heart. He's an adult, and a man, but also a kid on the inside, which was really fun. And I didn't have to stretch too far to play that because I feel like that's kind of like who I am... probably.” What do you think?
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe.
