While James Gunn is putting the finishing touches before heading off for a promotional stint next week, Vin Diesel has revealed on Facebook that he's seen Guardians of the Galaxy's latest cut."I have to share this... My youngest who is 3 yrs old, has never been to a movie theater before in his life," noted the voice behind Groot. "Today, I was invited by Disney and Marvel to see the latest cut of Guardians of the Galaxy and I was able to take the angels. WOW!!!!! To Marvel, Disney, the incredible cast and team and especially James Gunn... Thank you for making a GREAT MOVIE! It was amazing and will always be special, for it was the first film I was able to take my family to see and oh how they loved it." Not at all a surprising reaction, but it's always nice to hear good things given that we're just weeks away from reviews and the film's release. Anyhow, check out an extended TV spot for Guardians of the Galaxy that has some new snippets.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits–Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Peter discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand - with the galaxy’s fate in the balance. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is presented by Marvel Studios and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gilian, Djimon Hounsou with John C. Reilly, Glenn Close as Commander Rael and Benicio del Toro as The Collector. Distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, the film opens August 1, 2014

But was it better than your initial viewing of TASM 2? I think that's a more pressing question.

This new extended look only makes me more hyped and faithful that Guardians of the Galaxy will indeed be Marvel's next worldwide billion dollar breakout box office blockbuster smash hit. Only 30 more days left to go until it comes out, baby! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW, the person in the shot after the shot where the Collector's museum is being attacked is... wait for it.... Yondu Udonta!

Just finished watching TF4 and it wasn't as bad as most people are mind boggling it out to be. Good fun, action SOUNDTRACK and a slight improvement from the previous films (plot wise). It actually feels like it was a fresh start of a new chapter that has yet to continue... That's how I viewed it, as a new chapter rather than a long run continuation.
