Vin Diesel Teases His Future In Marvel And GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 2

While promoting the next installment of his Fast and Furious franchise, Vin Diesel was asked by MTV about his future in the MCU and if we'll see him in a new role. Hit the jump to know what he had to say.

Vin Diesel has been teasing fans for months about a possible different role in a Marvel movie, specifically, in the Inhumans. So MTV decided to directly ask him about it and Guardians of the Galaxy 2. “Oh god,” Diesel said. “Wow. Right for the jugular. You see, Marvel? They ask me these questions!” After a short moment, Diesel continued. “You know, I enjoyed the experience of playing Groot. A lot of it was the great cast, and the genius of James Gunn. But I also enjoyed, you know, entering into the Marvel world. And… Good things will come from that.” 

Later in the interview, he mentioned talking with James Gunn after getting a nomination for best onscreen duo on the MTV Movie Awards for Rocket and Groot. After sharing his thoughts on winning the award two times with Paul Walker, Diesel talk a little about Guardians of the Galaxy 2. “I know James Gunn is very excited and he’s working on it right now,” Diesel added. “He’s very excited about what Groot will do in the 2017 movie.”
