I always find it so funny that Jackie Earle Haley is kind of a soft spoken nice guy, and yet he pulls off such crazy roles like ronnie in Little children, and Rorschach in Watchmen so well. The contrast is amazing. Haley is such a good actor. If anything can save this damn movie, it's him

I am not a big remake fan and this is one I wish they wouldn't do. There are just some classic movies you leave alone and I feel this is one of them. If a movie is a flop...fine...try remaking it. I guess Hollywood is hurting in coming up with new original ideas.

WOW THIS MOVIE IS GOING TO BE AWESOME. I hope it's as good as the remake
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (w/Jessica Beil) and
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginings.

I think those are great films especially The one with Beil NOW THAT is a GREAT remake! IMO

No I disagree. Friday the 13th was a good remake. And I believe this is the same people who did Friday the 13th so should be a good remake.

Teabag@: Thanks for the great pic.

I'm split in two about this movie: I want to see it because I know it's going to be awesome, on the other hand I'm a coward when it comes to Horror films and I fear that I will never be courageous enough to go to sleep if I see this film. Ha Ha.

Ranger14@ I agree with you, certain films are not meant to be remade and I also believe Hollywood is running out of original ideas. But I think that this certain film is probably meant to be aimed at an audience that is probably not familiar with ELM St and want to see it a bit more current, or people who are familiar with the Franchise want to see it a brand new way.
