The original 2006 Silent Hill movie, based on the excellent Konami game, starred Radha Mitchell, Sean Bean, Laurie Holden, Deborah Kara Unger, Kim Coates, Tanya Allen and Jodelle Ferland. Christophe Gans directed the TriStar Pictures release, which earned a nice $97.6 million worldwide.

Its reported Davis Films aims to shoot the movie next year after the Resident Evil sequel Afterlife, which it is now by the way preparing to shoot!

Roger Avary is also penning video game adaptation of the popular Return to Castle Wolfenstein for Davis Films, which is very exciting news.

LEEE777 - Look's like we're all getting lots of video game movies to come, hopefully good ones. I actually liked Silent Hill so the sequel is good news to me, make it even more darker and horrific an we will have a winner! ; )

Sweet. I thought the first silent Hill movie was well done. They filmed a part of it on one of my projects in Toronto, i tried to make arrangements to get on set, wasn't going to happen.

A friend of mine accidentally stumbled onto a part of the set in Hamilton. He was quickly removed by security.

I'm looking forward to this! I thought the first one was great! Loved Kim Coates in this movie as the cop, Gucci, but I'm a big Kim Coates fan! Love him on Sons of Anarchy too!

The first Silent Hill movie was pretty good. I would like to see a story written for the big screen based on SH4:The Room. That was a sick game! It had an awsome story line and was really f***ed up. Not to mention the creepiness of being trapped in your apartment and the only way out is through a hole in the bathroom wall that takes you to the nightmare version of Silent Hill.

I already viewed plenty of sites working with such topics, for the most part of the people duplicate other site content, but each time to your site I see new & first-class stuff, nice walking.
