There's a new horror comedy called Little Monsters on the way which stars Lupita Nyong’o as a schoolteacher attempting to see her young students safely through a zombie apocalypse, and we have a very bloody - and bloody funny - red band trailer for you guys to take a look at.
Nyong’o plays Miss Caroline, who finds herself having to deal with hordes of the undead when she pays a visit to a petting zoo with her students. Unfortunately, the only other survivors are her useless colleague (Alexander England) and a drunk TV personality played by Josh Gad.
Director Abe Forsythe describes the film as an “R-rated Pixar movie,” and that sums up this bonkers trailer perfectly! Check it out below and let us know what you think.
Little Monsters is set for release on Nov. 15 in the U.K. Neon and Hulu picked up the film’s domestic rights at Sundance, but a U.S. release date has yet to be announced.
