Before Jennifer Tilly debuted as Tiffany in Bride of Chucky back in 1998, she sent pulses racing in controversial (for its time) erotic thriller Bound, and the upcoming second season of the Chucky TV series is set to reunite the actress with her co-stars from the cult classic.
The official SyFy Twitter account (via FearHQ) announced some new cast members for the show last night, and Gina Gershon (Killer Joe) and Joe Pantoliano (The Matrix) were among them. Tony Nappo (Saw II), Sutton Stracke (Real Housewives) and Jennifer's sister Meg Tilly (Psycho 2) have also signed on to appear.
No details on any of their characters were shared, but we'd hazard a guess that Meg will play Tiffany's sister.
Brad Dourif will return as the voice of Chucky, and it was recently confirmed that Fiona Dourif will also be back as Nica... or what's left of her, at least. Poor Nica Pierce did not have a very easy time of things during the first season, and Tiffany ultimately decided to amputate the long-suffering Chucky vessel's arms and legs in order to keep her from escaping.
They join Zackary Arthur as Jake Wheeler, Björgvin Arnarson as Devon Evans, Alyvia Alyn Lind as Lexy Cross, Alex Vincent as Andy Barclay, Christine Elise as Kyle and Barbara Alyn Woods as Mayor Michelle Cross.
“After a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town’s hypocrisies and secrets. Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies — and allies — from Chucky’s past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll’s untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster.”
