Big screen remakes have become the norm in recent years and, unfortunately, not all of them have hit the mark. However, if this first trailer for Blumhouse's take on
Fantasy Island is anything to go by, Valentine's Day 2020 is going to be a seriously scary affair and definitely not a reboot that disappoints.
Kick-Ass 2 director Jeff Wadlow is returning to his horror roots and he's assembled an amazing cast made up of names like Michael Peña, Lucy Hale, Maggie Q, and Portia Doubleday.
As you can see in this new look at the movie, it's clearly following the blueprint of the original TV series but upping the ante in a big way by going down an even darker route. There are clearly a lot of reasons to be excited about
Fantasy Island and it should make for a perfect date night move come February 14th. Blumhouse, meanwhile, has been on a roll lately.
