Set for a release date of April 12, 2013, the upcoming reboot of The Evil Dead Trilogy has reportedly concluded filming and is set to begin post-production. The trilogy, composed of The Evil Dead and its sequels, Evil Dead 2 and Army Of Darkness (otherwise known as Bruce Campbell Vs. The Army Of Darkness or simply Evil Dead III) is what would give Sam Raimi (The Spiderman Trilogy) and Bruce Campbell (also associated with The Spiderman Trilogy through cameos), who are set to return as producers, a name.
This film is coincide with the production of Evil Dead IV: Consequences, which it itself received when it was sued for copyright infingment, and will probably never be released.
The film is set to star Jane Levy, Jessica Lucas, Shiloh Fernandez, Luo Taylor Pucci, and Elizabeth Blackmore. Directed by Fede Alvarez.
Synopsis: Five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin where they discover a Book of the Dead and unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.
