A zombie movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger could either be described as being a very fun or very dumb idea. However, Maggie looks like pretty unique, and it should give The Expendables 3and Terminator Genesys star a chance to show off his serious side. Maggie will see Schwarzenegger play a Midwestern farmer who cares for his teenage daughter (Zombieland and Little Miss Sunshine’s Abigail Breslin) as she slowly transforms into a zombie. Based on the first look at footage below, the movie will be a rather sombre outing, and it’s definitely an intriguing premise.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is actually going to attempt to act? And people are saying in the trailer he is actually good at it? I mean shit. This might spell out a lot for Arnold if this works out correctly. Plus this doesn't look too bad from the trailer, i might see it.

Wow. That was good. It looks like it's going to be pretty heavy on the feelz.
Way to get right back in the proverbial saddle, Arnie!

One of Arnold's earliest roles was a dramatic role in Stay Hungry and he won a Golden Globe for that one. He's got the chops, he's just spent most of his career in roles which didn't require him to actually "act." Looking forward to this.

I think with the right director and decent dialogue, Arnie can act the hell out of role. It's just because of his size and popularity that he's never had a movie where he's needed to show range. Can you honestly ever say you've seen Arnold in a role that required him to break down and show true dramatic emotion, not comedy? This is an interesting take on the Zombie infestation. It is a slow process and doesn't 100% take over for a long time. They're able to function. I like that. I'll catch it.

So the girl is named Maggie in a zombie movie & the most popular TV show is The Walking Dead & one of the leads is named Maggie. We need a crossover..MAGGIE VS. MAGGIE

Wake up, Maggie I think I've got brains to feed to you...
It's late September and you're really pale you [frick]ing ghoul..
All you are is walking dead....
You keep trying to bite me in the head...
Oh Maggie you just can't die...anymore...

You made a first class fool out of me
Like Joel Schumacher did to DC
You're rotting now, but I love you anyway...

About time we got something different, that's why I liked World War Z it didn't truly follow the book but it gave us a different take on zombies. Shake it up a bit Hollywood, be original like the Vampires in 30 Days of Night I was so tired of the sexy goth vamps, 30 Days made vampires scary again.

Does anyone else find it odd that Arnold STILL has a thick accent after living in the U.S. For 30 or so years? I mean he'll always have it, but you'd think it wouldn't be as thick after all this time

This could be similar to when Stallone did Cop Land and showed that he had good acting chops. I am looking forward to Arnold actually acting in a movie.
