News a few months back that the popular comic series
Locke And Key written by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez, would be adapted into a television series produced by Steven Spielberg. Now the pilot has officially ordered by Fox and produced by them and Dreamworks TV.
Josh Friedman, writer on the cult hit series
Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles has scripted the pilot episode. Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci will also be the shows executive producers. Dreamworks Television will be teaming up with K.O Paper Products, using K.O's deal with 20th Television. Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank are also executive producing through Dreamwork, as well as IDW Publishing's Ted Adams.
The show is expected to start during the fall season of 2011.
