Hey everyone, I just had to share this...  the first trailer for Good Boy, an upcoming horror movie with a clever twist, is finally here!

This isn’t your typical horror flick. Good Boy puts a fresh spin on the genre by telling its story through the eyes of a dog. When a man moves into a seemingly ordinary new home, he quickly realizes he’s not alone. Supernatural forces linger in the shadows, their presence growing darker and more dangerous with each passing night. But when evil threatens to consume him, salvation doesn’t come from a priest, a ghost hunter, or even a weapon… it comes from his most loyal companion. His brave pup steps forward to face the darkness head-on, determined to protect the human he loves most, no matter the cost.

I’ve been following this movie for quite some time now, and I’m honestly so excited to see it finally coming together. It feels rare these days to see truly original ideas getting made, and this one really stands out. Horror told from a dog’s perspective? That’s something new!

I don't generally post articles, but I was very excited for this movie and wanted to share it with the Comic Book Movie Community. Check out the trailer and let me know what you think! I really hope the community supports this one!  A fresh, original horror like this deserves an audience.

The film is directed by Ben Leonberg, written by Leonberg and Alex Cannon, and stars Indy the dog, along with Larry Fessenden, Stuart Rudin, Shane Jensen, Arielle Friedman, and Anya Krawcheck.

From: IFC and Shudder

Rated: PG-13

Releasing: October 3, 2025

If you’re looking for a horror experience that mixes loyalty, love, and plenty of scares, Good Boy just might become your next favorite fright. Don’t miss the trailer and keep an eye out, because this pup isn’t just Todd's best friend… he’s mankind’s last line of defense against the unknown.
