How can ”Supernatural” possibly End?

A question I've been pondering for some time now.

As a fan of ”Supernatural” I am quite happy sticking with the show for as many seasons as it goes , to be honest it's the only show I really watch anymore. This current season we see the Winchester boys losing everything they've come to know and love, cas is dead, Bobby is dead, Bobby house ( which was the only real home Sam and dean ever had) was destroyed, they lost the use of their rock aliases ( due to the LaviaClones) , and most painful of all.......... The Impala is in hiding. Needless to say Sam and dean are dealing with some serious shit this season, but question I ask is how with all the crap the boys are dealing with this season, and all the crap they've dealt with in earlier season, can this show possibly end that would be pleasing to me and all the people who watch and love ”Supernatural” ? During earlier seasons When people would ask Jared how he'd like his character's story to end, he would say ” I'd really think Sam should die”. That would be great way for Sam to go out, if it hadn't happen a dozen times already. The same thing goes for Dean ( infact , thank to the trickster or Gabriel , he's died like 126 times). With a show that has never ending evil trying to destroy the world, and characters that can die and come back to life, can it have a series finale that ties everything up in a nice bow, and not make its diehard viewers feel like they wasted years on a show that went nowhere? Personally, I think the season 5 ender would've been a great finale( just without Sam under the street light), but they decided to continue the show, which I have bittersweet feelings about. So, I ask you, my CMB brothers and sisters, had do think or want ”supernatural” to end? In my head , Dean was killed by the hands of Lucifer in the episode ”swan song” and the past two season was just Dean's slice of heaven . Dean can't live without the job or his brother, so his heaven would be a never ending road trip fighting evil with Sam, but in reality everyone is dead , Sam IS Lucifer and world has burned. But that's just my idea, What's yours?

Just because a series might have a bad ending doesn't mean that a viewer wasted their time watching the show. Even if the ending isn't as satisfying as they might have hoped, it doesn't change the ride there and if it does it's more likely the viewer who is the problem. Supernatural has had some great seasons, so even if the series finale blows, thee rest of then series will always be great. I agree that season 5 was the perfect ending to the show. It's a shame they didn't save it for the ending of the series. I don't know how it will ultimately, end but I would guess it would involve them continuing their fight against evil with an understanding that it can never end and it is something that they must do, no matter the personal coat.

Oh, and why would Dean's heaven involve just about everyone he loves being killed? He doesn't want to spend his life on the road with Sam. He wants to have a family. It just didn't work out the way he wanted.

The ending of Lost for me IMO was dissapointing but in no way was the series a waste. No bad ending don't make a series worthless not really, if the series is shit from the beginning and then has crappy end (like Shitville) then yes you have wasted your time. But how do you end supernaural, well by destroying the world, yes its that simple.

I have no worries for "Supernatural" in any way, shape, or form. They've proven themselves to be one of the most adaptable and evolutionary TV series ever produced over the past seven years and I applaud the way they've been able to produce new issues for the brothers and their frinds to face time after time.... whatever the ending will eventually be, it's going to be one that none of us saw coming - much in the way that no one saw the character of "Eve" ever coming about last season.

SPN will be just fine.... gotta remember, not even "Smallville" or "X-Files" made it to their seventh season in such good shape as "Supernatural" has managed to do.

i agree w. samwinchester^
nothing 2 worry about when it comes to sn, theyve survived so much as a show and i get the feeling that since their story is such a flexible one by nature theres a number of endings we havent even thought about yet.

one ending could be where sam & dean find a way to wipe out all of the supernatural underworld, hence the 'end' of supernatural.

If when the end comes, i'll just go back to pretending Swan Song was the end, nothing will ever top that episode, that's not to the say the show's bad, because it's not, after the most recent episode it's actually riding quite high in my book.

I like the show and would not want it to end I mean come on its an awesome show, and sure there will be a time were both actors will end up getting tired of acting as the characters but when that comes they will find a way to either say the end or kill off both brothers and give the world to the hands of evil.
