IT: CHAPTER 2 Table Read Photo Provides A First Official Look At The Sequel's Adult Cast

Our first official photo of the actors who will play the adult version of The Loser's Club in It: Chapter 2 has been released as they assemble for a table read. Will they be enough to take down Pennywise?

It: Chapter 2 has assembled an incredible cast of actors to play the adult version of The Loser's Club and Warner Bros. has now released an official cast photo of them all participating in a table read. Unfortunately, they're obviously not in costume but shooting can't have commenced yet and it seems they're instead all getting to know each other and preparing to tackle Pennywise the Clown.

From left to right we have Jessica Chastain (Beverly Marsh), James McAvoy (Bill Denbrough), Isaiah Mustafa (Mike Hanlon), Jay Ryan (Ben Hanscom), James Ransone (Eddie Kaspbrak), Bill Hader (Richie Tozier), and Andy Bean (Stan Uris). It's one heck on an ensemble and it's easy to imagine each of these actors in their respective roles. With any luck, an actual cast photo will be with us by Comic-Con.

Are you excited for It: Chapter 2? As always, share your thoughts in the comments section below.

Just rewatched this on HBO this weekend...

God damn what a phenomenal movie it was, and I remember thinking it was going to be complete shit when announced.

This is near the top of my list for most anticipated non cbm films coming up.

@Menks123

As a horror movie, it is FUN. Not all that scary, creepy at times. The opening scene is damn near perfect. But damn is it fun.

Can’t wait for the sequel.

@regularmovieguy - I was definitely creeped out, but what really surprised me was the main cast. Usually for me, the children actors always bring down a movie...especially if it's a serious one. The kids fricking killed it.

Also, am a fan of Andrés Muschietti. Mama was an underrated film imo.

Shouldn't say ALWAYS. But a lot of the time, they kind of are the weakest link of a drama or horror film to me. But they carried this film with ease, was great.

@Menks123 - It's the craziest thing. I somehow knew this was going to be good as soon as it was announced. I don't know whether it was because it was going to have a bigger budget than the TV movie, or what it was, but I was excited for it as soon as it was announced. Then when I first saw Pennywise, my excitement level was greatly increased. I love how he looks like he could be hundreds, even thousands of years old. I can't wait for the sequel.

Here's something else you should get excited for. I'm having the same feeling about the "Pet Cemetery" remake.

@Menks123 - I agree with you on "Mama". I hated it the first time I watched it, but the second time, I was like, "Wow. This is a really good film." I can't wait to see what he does after "IT".

Missed opportunity not casting Amy Adams as the older Beverly Marsh. The young actress looks like a young Amy Adams, and is even portraying a young Adams in a new HBO mini.

It looks like a good cast rounded up. 2nd time James McAvoy and Jessica Chastain partner up after Dark Phoenix as well.

@NinnesMBC - 3rd time, actually. They were in a movie together a few years ago called The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby (along with Bill Hader).
