IT has taken in over $120 million domestically since it opened on Friday, virtually guaranteeing that we'll see Part 2 at some point.

Director director Andy Muschietti and producer Barbara Muschietti will soon have to begin thinking about casting the older incarnations of the main characters, and Andy has someone in mind for Bev that's sure to be a hit with fans.

Jessica Chastain previoulsy worked with Mushietti on Mama and the two have remained friends, so Variety asked the filmmaker if he'd consider her for the role during their interview.

"Jessi is an amazing actress and very good friend and I would love her to play Beverly. She loves the movie and it feels like the planets are aligned in that sense, but we still have to make that happen. There are a lot of ideas for the rest of the cast that I’m playing with, but it’s a bit too premature to say those names right now."

That actually sounds like he may have broached the subject with Chastain already, but it'll obviously be a while before we begin to hear anything in the way of official casting news for the sequel.

Would you like to see Jessica Chastain as Bev in IT 2? Who would you cast in the other Losers' Club roles? Let us know in the comments section.

I thought it was the part where the casting was obvious. Amy Adams would be good too but considering he already has a history with Chastain it's too good of an option to pass on.

I can get behind it. Pretty much the little "fan-cast" the young actors did is what I would go with. Apparently the opening scene of the sequel has been rumored to be the Adrian Mellon scene.

@kRAVENklaw - They did fancast their roles well but I think Boseman and Pratt would be a little pricey.
