IT: Pennywise Terrorizes The Losers' Club In This Creepy New Trailer For The Upcoming Stephen King Adaptation

A new trailer for Andy Muschietti’s new take on Stephen King's IT just debuted at the MTV Movie Awards, and while not quite as terrifying as the first, it still musters a few shivers. Check it out.

While the first trailer for IT was pure nightmare fuel, this second look at director Andy Muschietti’s re-adaptation of King's classic novel is more about the kids that make up the Losers' Club, and there are actually a few funny moments.

However, things get deadly serious when that damn balloon stars floating towards 'em, and the teaser ends with a creepy new shot of the demonic Pennywise.

Check it out below, and let us know if you're looking forward to this one in the usual place.

A group of young kids face their biggest fears when they seek answers to the disappearance of children in their hometown of Derry, Maine. They square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.

IT will be in theaters September 8, 2017.

Pretty creepy. I'm still hoping this and the Dark Tower can kick off a Stephen King Cinematic Universe.

This looks really good. The chemistry between the kids is great and the cinematography continues to impress. I think this'll surprise a lot of people.

Mama was a great movie and I can't wait to see what the director has in store for this movie. I love good horror films and in the last several years I've been let down, so hopefully It will change that.

Meh. 1st trailer was much better. I'll never like Pennywise's look either.

Wow. I genuinely cannot wait to see this film. These kids are fantastic, their chemistry is wonderful, the humour between them works, and there's a sense of dread throughout this that feels really creepy. I love it. My only concern is Pennywise the Clown, but I still have faith in the character since I'm liking everything else that I've seen thus far, I'm just worried about how his voice will sound, and whether or not he'll have the same charisma as Tim Curry or come across as almost totally different. Either way, nitpicks aside, I expect this to be much better than The Dark Tower, though let's find out in the coming months.

I'm curious to see if IT will turn into a giant alien spider like the original movie? 🤔

@TeddiRxpn01 - they seem to be sticking very close to the book, so I would venture to say that he will.

I hope it's good, But yah I don't like the clown. He's too scary. He looks like a clown to entice kids to approach. What kid in their right mind would go near a clown that looked like that? That would be like a some woman asking Gusto for directions. It would never happen.
