While the first trailer for IT was pure nightmare fuel, this second look at director Andy Muschietti’s re-adaptation of King's classic novel is more about the kids that make up the Losers' Club, and there are actually a few funny moments.

However, things get deadly serious when that damn balloon stars floating towards 'em, and the teaser ends with a creepy new shot of the demonic Pennywise.

Check it out below, and let us know if you're looking forward to this one in the usual place.

A group of young kids face their biggest fears when they seek answers to the disappearance of children in their hometown of Derry, Maine. They square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.

IT will be in theaters September 8, 2017.
