As any fan of the Resident Evil games knows, the movies bare little resemblance to those games. I guess they have some redeeming features with Milla Jovovich's being one of them!

Here's what she had to say about the latest movie:

"Let’s just say this. The clones are definitely in it. You’ve got multiple Alice’s kicking serious butt. And definitely the real Alice has some pretty major things happen to her that change the stakes a little bit. That’s probably all I can give you in a vague sort of way. It’s definitely going to be a different Alice than who we’re used to."

I don't hate the movies. I just think they could have been so much better. Anyway, here's a smoking hot pic of Jovovich!

I've gotta admit the movies don't really take anything from the games apart from the umbrella corporation and also they had nemesis in the second one but other than that i think there good fun i have all 4 on dvd (that includes the cgi one to) and they are good to watch looking forward to the new one :-P

I prefer the first one myself. never seen the cgi one though. They took the scare factor out of the third one by shooting it in the day and the huge open spaces just makes it seem you could just run away rather than being backed into a corner.

Oh yeah and nice pick teabag.

Man I had no idea that they were makin another one its good news I like all the movies except for parts of the 3rd(alice's magic powers, the clones,etc.) But overall they are good I own all 3 and I watch them every now and then I just don't like the sound of a bunch of clones bein in it I hope it stay close to the others in continuity and what not when's this movie come out anybody know
Oh and the movie looks good but I wish milla would've got the black widow role.

Sd @ lol!!! An yeah i wouldn't be surprised if we see a reeboot or remake after this ones done sometime in the future an make a real horrific one RE worthy of the name! ; )

But hopefully fingers crossed we're all surprised by this one!

She would've made a horrible BLACK WIDOW! i like her but she was never good for that part! Is it the accent or something??? SCARLETT is so much better, i thought that from the start an i hope she proves it to all of you! ; )

Guys, now that she cant be BLACK WIDOW though, what Superherione could she be perfect for???

I really do hope though RE 4 is really good!

Maybe catwoman she would actually be pretty good as her and even though I like scarlett who's a fine actress I think that milla is way better(fifth element is a prime example of her acting quality) she could own that role but its too late so id have to say catwoman would be best

Sorry you feel that way Leee777. That was a real missed opportunity and I don't see her as any other character than Black Widow. Scarlett's horrible and I highly doubt she'll pull a Heath Ledger on that role

They should just redo these movies. I would like it if all of them were CGI like Degeneration was. These movies are pretty bad... I don't know why they keep making them. Maybe Uwe Boll is behind it.

Cause they keep making money. The budgets are low and the world wide take plus all the people who but the videos make them profitable and that's all tha tmatters. The movies aren't horrible I've seen them all and I'll see this one. I like zombie movies, even if there bad ones :)

LEEE777, Milla looks like Black Widow and you've seen her kick arse in some of her movies. She can easily pull a Russian accent although she Ukranian. She's pretty much an action star and she woulda really hit it Iron Man 2. A shame.

Good God people, they don't have to remake everything under the sun! I'd rather they move on to something else rather then restart the series. I'm looking forward to the new movie, I enjoyed the last few... though I may have just been drooling over Milla in those boots the whole time... mmmm...

OH HELL NO! Not another Resident Evil!

What pisses me off about Resident Evil 4 is there are so many other good sequels that should be made instead of this crap but no one is making them: Ghostbusters 3, The Incredibles 2, Bad Boys 3, a good Men In Black 3, a better Ghost Rider 2, an actual watchable Alien vs Predator 3 and maybe a Johnny English 2 (with better writers this time) but NOOOOOO, nobody is making them! They keep churning out this crap instead and slowly bringing down the reputation of cinema.

Now, dont get me wrong, I liked Resident Evil 1 & 2, I actually enjoyed them. But after the end of Resident Evil 2, they did a "Terminator 3" and made it that the second movie really didnt matter in the long run because the virus got out anyway and destroyed the world. I bloody hated the third movie for that and also because the CGI sucked, the zombies were crap and the acting and action was so horribly bad. And this coming from someone who liked Punisher War Zone (I know, I know, Im sorry lol)

Does anyone else think that Resident Evil Extinction should have had the plot of the CG-animated Resident Evil Degeneration (which was actually pretty good). They could have included Leon and still had Milla being badass and killing zombies. The plot would of been a hell of a lot better and they could have ended it with the third one. But no, now we have Resident Evil: Zombies Want More Money. Well I for one will not be going to see it and I urge all of you intelligent people not to go see it too so the studio will get the hint and stop making this rubbish!

Sorry for the mad rant but to sum up my rant for people who couldnt be bothered reading my long comment:

RESIDENT EVIL EXTINCTION AND 4 SUCKS!

Although, Milla Jovovich rocks. She could do a million bad movies and I still would have major respect for her because she is so bloody good in the Fifth Element. And of course, she is so bloody hot! When the heck are they gonna put her in a Marvel or a DC movie and who could she play? Oh and thanks for the hot pic of Milla, Rorschach! Very nice!

these movies actually do follow the resident evil timeline from the games. i know the games did not have any character named alice that had psychic powers. but the first RE game started with townfolk being attacked by some kind of "animals" in the hills/woods(the animals actually being the zombie dogs and human zombies.) the first movie took place just before the first game and explains how the virus broke out, i think of the movie being the reason the "animals/zombies in the hills" came to be. in the game, the police send the STARS team to investigate te murders, which is when they discover the mansion.

the second movie is just before the second game. in the second game Leon arrives after the shiz has hit the fan, the city is already destroyed and zombified, inculding the police station. in the movie, the police station is still up and running. so Leon hasn't gotten there yet.

the third movie doesn't really follow anything though, the third movie would have to be so far in the future, that even the games coming out nowadays aren't caught up.

i think of the movies as kind of filling in holes in between games. this is nothing that's ever been confirmed, but i've played every RE game, and thats what i come up with. either way, these movies blow, lol

If anything needs a Reboot it would be this franchise. Reboot the first a stick with the story from the games. I mean Jesus why cant they have the characters from the games be the stars? Why are they always secondary? I'm tired of Alice. Where is Chris? Where is Leon? Maybe they should follow everyone else and just do a Prequel....there, problem solved!

Meh..these movies were ok..definitely coulda been better..have to agree with Lee on the Scarlett pick..shes better than Milla for Widow. Maybe just on the body wise issue. Milla on superheroines mayb she could be Psylocke. Dye her hair purple and put her in a onesy thingy because her sword wielding is pretty good.

@comicchic--how bout some pics of you in some of your shoes...hehehe
